Quilting & Craft Camps

Here is your chance to get down and do some serious sewing. It’s a great excuse to get away from everything and sit and enjoy the open fire, great food and relax with people who enjoy nattering and sewing.

The restaurant will be overflowing with sewing machines and material, buttons and unfinished objects. Some people even bring scrap booking and cross stitch projects they are working on. The days are often really lovely so you can get out and sew in the sunshine or go for a walk to enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush. You can also visit Paddy’s River Falls or the Pioneer Women’s Hut, which hosts the National Quilt Register, there’s plenty to see in the area.

Show and tell on the Saturday followed by a mega feast to keep people sewing throughout the night. More sewing and a fantastic lunch to finish will cap off a great weekend. You are welcome to stay for as long as you wish (most participants never want to leave). Hopefully you’ll leave this inspirational and rewarding weekend with some finished objects and ready to start something new!

Everyone is welcome and accommodation is available for those who wish to bring partners or friends.

Bring whatever project you want to work on and spend time doing what you love. Sit by the open fire and finish off all those UFO’s while enjoying not having to cook.
